Hello ,everyone! Here I'm enclosing a short story I expect you to read and enjoy over the following days!
Roald Dahl (September 13, 1916 to November 23, 1990) was a British
author who penned 19 children's books over his decades-long writing
career. While many people have read James and the Giant Peach, Charlie
and the Chocolate Factory, and Fantastic Mr Fox, not many know Dahl was
a short story writer, too.
His short stories, though darker than his children’s books, seem to be
written with that same cheek and whimsy of his that we’ve come to know
and love. Here goes one of my favourite, hope you enjoy it as well!

Take your time to read it. We’ll be working on its comprehension after this winter
recess. Enjoy these days, rest and stay healthy and happy!!!
